YouTube - How to watch restricted videos How to make yourself a good stumbler

Do you have the “upper hand” in your business?  If you’ve already shifted your sites to Wordpress blogs, then yes you do. Here’s why:

1- Wordpress Is A CMS
Try not to think of Wordpress as a “blogging” software, because then you’ll only be using it when you want to create a blog.
In fact, Wordpress is a simple but complete CMS or Content
Management System which can be used for static sites, e-commerce
sites, company sites and much more.  All you need to do is find the right theme, and the right tips
on how to turn it into a CMS.

2- Wordpress is Scaleable
Start with a few pages, and in a year move up to 10,000.  Wordpress can handle this easily and you can even add on more functions to improve the capabilities of Wordpress using plugins.

3- Wordpress is Open Source
You don’t have to pay anyone royalties or monthly fees, except for your hosting company and your domain name (more about that below) I think sometimes people don’t realize the potential of “Open Source”. Imagine Coke sharing the recipe with you, and allowing you to add and improve their basic product without a lot of restrictions. That’s the power of it! You can easily hire someone to modify or merge your Wordpress blog into your forum software, or even create a new CMS based off it, and not have to pay anyone any royalty or other meaningless fees.

That’s UNFAIR ADVANTAGE for you! If your competitors aren’t already using Wordpress, then soon they are going to miles behind you and wondering what hit them. Speaking of which, I’m talking about “self-hosted” Wordpress blogs here, not the free ones at Wordpress.com

I highly recommend (unless you’re blogging for fun) that you invest in a good domain name, get your own web hosting server and take control of your Wordpress blog.

When you’re paying for your own server you can do basically anything you want with Wordpress, and you’re not subjected to someone else’s Terms of Service and limitations.

I use wordpress for my blog http://www.xptricks.net
It’s a lot better than blogger, I like both its numerous options and “opensourceness” - there are many more themes, widgets and plugins than for google’s blogger.
I didn’t actually know it could be used so well for making a static webpage.. Can’t help seeing the make new page button beside make new post, but I didn’t think much of it then…
